Woodcroft has been manufacturing a diverse range of solid timber products for both home and industry for nearly 100 years. We work with pine and rimu through to hardwoods such as beech, ash and oak — with the flexibility to use other timbers as required, and to machine products in MDF. Most products are made to order, though we carry stock of some components.
The company originated as Mt Eden Turnery, established in 1923 by craftsman Thomas Fletcher. After 1956 Woodcroft expanded internationally, exporting to Australia, Canada and the US. By the early 1980s the business employed over 80 staff across a 70,000 sq ft factory.
In 2012, Woodlynn purchased Woodcroft's woodturning and woodworking operations and merged them with its Glen Eden facilities. Today Woodcroft and Woodlynn work in tandem from the one factory, giving customers a wide range of wooden components — backed by a team whose timber experience, collectively, runs well past 100 years.
