Our Heritage

A century of timber, still turning.

Woodcroft began life as Mt Eden Turnery, established in 1923 by craftsman Thomas Fletcher. The company grew internationally after 1956 — exporting to Australia, Canada and the US — and by the early 1980s employed over 80 staff across a 70,000 sq ft factory.

In 2012, Woodlynn purchased Woodcroft's woodturning and woodworking operations and merged them into its Glen Eden facilities. Today Woodcroft and Woodlynn work in tandem from one factory, giving customers an unusually wide range of wooden components under a single roof.
